How would you handle this situation?
P.S. I have no idea why the kid got tossed, unless he had already committed another unsportsmanlike foul earlier in the game,

This was already hashed out on several officiating boards.

This happened in Watauga Co.-Boone-, NC. I used to live there and am familiar with the story.
NC has an automatic ejection for taunting or baiting or excessive acts that bring attention to oneself. The head coach asked his seniors to come up with a play and the kid suggested this. The HC asked the officials in pre-game and was told NOT to run it. He was not told the player would be tossed so he argued the ejection. He picked up his 2nd USC for the argument. He had already received his first for a player wearing a tinted visor after certifying that all players were legally equipped.
