Title: FIU vs. Toledo
Post by: BC70 on December 27, 2010, 12:37:28 PM
Did anyone notice the crew call a timeout to have the scoreboard changed to reflect the team having no timeouts left.  There was one timeout showing on the scoreboard.  Is this a common practice?  I have never seen that before.

Have not seen it before but perhaps that is because the scoreboard was not wrong before.  I know we have corrected it in games (not televised) that I have been in.  The crew appeared to have several issues with the clock operators so perhaps those operators and the scoreboard operators were struggling.

Also from this game 8:43 remaining 4th quarter. FIU intercepts Toledo fwd pass - anyone else think that #18 FIU committed DPI by pushing off just before the catch ?

our supervisor instructs us to make sure the score...timeouts...and down are all accurate on the scoreboard.  his reasoning is the coaches refer to the scoreboard.
