SUBJECT: TASO Dues Refund Policy Revision
The pending litigation situation may be causing some uncertainty concerning the timely payment of member’s dues to TASO. To address this specific concern, a special provision is being added to the TASO
Dues Refund Policy while the current litigation is pending. Effective immediately, the following provision is in effect:
If TASO ceases operations between the dues due date and the first day that the UIL allows interschool scrimmages for that sport (boys or girls), the following policy will be administered:
a. These provisions are effective only if the Dues are received from the Chapter and Member on or before the due date for the sport.
b.100% of the current years dues will be refunded
c. If TASO membership is terminated all rights and privileges of TASO membership, including all insurance coverage is terminated.
d. When dues are received after the Division Dues Date from the chapter and/or the member, the Dues refund Policy will apply
e. The Dues Refund Requests form may be found inside the TASO Member’s Portal. Dues refunds are paid direct to the member.
f. All other provisions of the current Dues Refund Policy remain in effect.
