Post by: APG on February 01, 2011, 02:42:43 AM: As far as I know, the NFL does not make their rule book freely available online. They do sell a copy of it every year which is usually available early to mid September. I bought a copy September 10th this past year.

The "real" rulebook is ring bound, and the contents are not exactly the same. Don't think you can buy it, but it's published by "NFL Creative". Perhaps it's possible to call the NFL and talk to the NFL Creative people and ask.

It is NOT ring bound, it is published on a CD. The ring bound versions are what some officials/supervisors print in order to have a hard copy.
