Yes, Virginia: there is a Santa Claus and they appear to be seated in the 126th State Civil Court there in Austin! It will be quite interesting to see just how soon that the Manor Road Crowd comes to compliance with this new Court Order and puts a damper on its registration activities on its website and any other venues. I'm kinda thinking that with all those brilliant doctorial minds tiphat: / :!# running around over there, someone in their midst ought to be smart enough to know how to comply with a court order! Happy Easter holidays, Y'all! z^

Paging Dr. Spin, Paging Dr. Spin, where are you? I need this TRO translated. Paging nostradumb....
-
Guess the UIL will have to redact all of their notices about beginning official's registration...
-
Did any TASO chapters get notified? I do not have a thing about this in email.

It's now past 3PM the day after the issuance of the state district court TRO, and still no retraction of any kind posted on the Manor Road website. So as far as UIL Registration goes, it's apparently "business as usual." I reckon that nothing will be done until at least Tuesday since those hard working UIL doctors tiphat: :!# tiphat: all need some much deserved time off from whatever it is that they are masters at doing: website maintenance, apparently ain't exactly one of them!
Oh, well! I just hope that Judge Byrne understands that rationale! z^

4 days and counting since the TRO was issued and the Manor Road Crowd is still in the overt business of registering sports officials!
It's about time to start getting busy, TASO attorneys! Someone with UIL authority really needs to see the inside of the Travis County Gray Bar Hilton! z^

The latest is attached. UIL loses again.

It makes no sense..................UIL fights to move the case to Federal Ct. then fights to get it out of Federal Ct saying the State has jurisdiction. It goes back to State Ct and now they try to fight jurisdiction in State Ct. :!#
Am I missing something?

They said TASO doesn't have standing - denied.
They said sovereign immunity applies - denied.

Was any immediate relief sought extending the TRO against UIL registration of officials activity? Having visited the Manor Road Website, it suddenly appears that all UIL registration activity has ceased effective April 25th with the exception of "Free" Baseball & Softball; and "Paid" Basketball, Wrestling, Volleyball, Swimming & Diving, and Baseball. What gives? z^

Well, for what it's worth: the Manor Road website, effective this afternoon, has just made "officials registration unavailable" with no apparent explanation. Wonder why that may be? z^

Its the French army tactic - WE GIVE UP - WE GIVE UP! (he said, hopefully thinking).
