Title: Training video
Post by: Grant - AR on September 13, 2011, 10:14:09 AM
Hey guys!  I've uploaded a training video that a guy in Arkansas has put together for a group of officials he is working with.  He is planning to put out one per week (even if he only has 4-5 plays) and I'm going to work with him to get these created.  These are geared towards high school officials (5-man mechanics), but most of the plays are good to look at no matter what level you are currently working.

I thought I would post the first one here.  The subsequent videos will probably be posted in the subscriber section as an added benefit, but I wanted to get the first one out to the masses to see what you guys think.  Let me know your input.

Think you can load these as .avi or .mp3?

I tried to convert it this afternoon but was unsuccessful.  I'll keep trying and let you know if I can get it done.

It froze right after the intro.

RealPlayer should be able to open MP4.  I'll see if I can download the file and convert also.

Ok, I just right clicked the link and then clicked "Save Link As" to my desk top.  Once downloaded, RealPlayer opens it right away.

I'm impressed.  Would like to know what software was used to edit, particularly the ability to "highlight" a portion of the video?

Was an official filming?  Most videos I get from the schools forgo the referee signals and assessment.
