Title: Cut Blocking

Tonight after the first series of offense in my 7th grade B team, my center comes running off the field towards me. He is yelling, "COACH, COACH, COACH, did you see number 72? He is huge! I can't block him! I simply said, "Just cut him". He then turned to me and as serious as a heart attack says, "Coach, I cant I don't have a knife on me."

Nice.
I'll use an oldie from another sport.
Wrestling weigh-ins. A kid is over weight. Coach is pulling out his hair, "you were under 20 min ago. how can you be over? - di you eat or drink???"
Kid: "yeah coach I drank something..."
Coach: "why in the world did you drink you were on weight???
Kid: "it was only a diet coke."
