Maaaaybe he was telling some one to tuck in/cover up a flapping kidney/lower back pad....   That's all I can come up with...

Mike, I'll lose all respect for you if you don't show this clip at our next meeting.....and maybe the first announcement with his microphone pointing straight up.

Unfortunately they have taken the option away from me by making the meeting a "position breakout" meeting instead of a general member training meeting.  But watch out come Oct 17

Come on Brad, cut a guy some slack.
I told Mike this serves as a reminder you never know who is watching.
I hate those type headsets.

Come on Lonnie, you know that wouldn't go away unnoticed, right?   nAnA

Loved the way the announcers reacted and commented on it.

As for the microphone, that one's on your crew mates for not telling you about it.  I think they set you up.

Best regards,

Brad

You R's should band together and get the bosses to reach out to any district/school that uses these and point out the NCAA rules "strongly recommend" lapel microphones over these "Garth Brooks" contraptions.

A brief laugh to temper the tension is always appreciated by the crew.  This one gets a prize.   aWaRd

Did we ever get an answer on the new signal?  Was it indeed a comment about the lower back pad flapping in the breeze?  Maybe the R was telling the B to not stand so close to the umpire....

Obviously it's the "too many burritos" signal.

Yep, he was signalling to another official to take care of a back pad.

I was in fact telling the LJ to clean them up before the opening kickoff.

Brad, you're right. I didn't think about my crew mates setting me up, the adult beverages will be on them this week.
