Unusual play situation: 2nd down, Team A lines up with their snapper (wearing number 1) on the end of the line. 5 other linemen with numbers 50-79 are also on the line to his right. The ball is snapped, the snapper runs a route and receives the pass.
I can't find anything that specifies that the snapper is ineligible merely from the act of snapping. In this case he met the other requirements to be an eligible receiver in that he was on the end of his line and not wearing a restricted number. So... is this a legal play?

Completely legal. The snapper certainly may an end (as defined), and, if he is wearing an eligible number, there is no prohibition regarding him touching a forward pass.
