Title: NCAA Taunting Rule
Post by: NorCalMike on October 12, 2011, 04:14:23 PM
After reading the post about LSU game this past week end, I wanted to know what your thoughts are on the NHFS following suit and calling back scores for taunting.

1.  It doesn't happen often, and isn't really an issue.
2.  It is a VERY judgmental call.  There is a big controversy about the call this weekend, and that's among officials who are better trained and have more consistency from crew to crew.

It's not broken, don't fix it.

As for the NFL, I would be all in favor.

You can forget that, AB.  The NFL is all about TV ratings, which is why their rules are tilted so far in the favor of the offense.

Fully agree with bama and AB on the NFL. It's a business involving BIG BUCKS so it will not stop. What I do not like is what the pros do Sunday, our kids want to do on Tuesday or Friday or Saturday...    If we flag them they look at you and wonder what they did that was wrong.

There's a difference between playing football and being in the show.
