With the high school playoffs in full swing in most states, I was wondering how much you get for a playoff game. Do you get more than you would for a regular season game?
In my section of California we make $102 for a playoff game and umpires get free sNiCkErS . That's $21 more than we get for a regular season game.

No change in Texas Normal pay scale (based on gate) in effect
-
NC: Regular season pay is $70. Playoffs are $80 and the state final pays $85.
-
We actually get less in Arkansas. $65 compared to $80 for a regular Friday night. Our association feels that a playoff is a privilege and enough of a reward itself.

Gotta love AHSAA...at least football is close in pay from regular season to playoffs...baseball is not even close. Might as well just volunteer...

Alaska screws you over reg season game $85. Playoffs $70. Reg season games are payed by the city the playoffs are paid by the state.

Well I guess i will consider myself lucky then. Can't believe they actually reduce the pay. That's crazy.

wow....we are very lucky here in Texas.
Some Jerry World games can be more than college game checks.
not sure I have ever gotten less than 125 in my 15 or so playoff games.

In Idaho, we go from $54 regular season to $70 in playoffs.
-
New Hampshire is $102 for playoff games. Regular season is $80 plus travel if more than 40 miles one way.

Very similar to our pay here in California except we don't get travel pay.
