Supposedly their feud goes back to an early 60's CFL game. I personally think it was staged.  Angelo Mosca went on to have a long pro wrestling career.  Actually saw him go up against Wahoo McDaniel in our old Y in the late 70's or early 80's.

I can't see him dusting himself off and continuing on with the "chat" on stage like nothing happened if was real.

Joe Kapp was the (on the field, certainly not off) equivalent to Tim Tebow when he played in the NFL.  Tough, hard-nosed, certainly not a great passer, but effective leader that knew how to win.  Took Minnesota all the way to the Super Bowl. There is a great NFL film clip of him making a really hard tackle on a DB that was returning one of his interceptions.
