TO: All Football Members

Over the last few years the UIL has provided our members hats to wear in the championship games. Even though wearing the hats has always been a crew decision and not required by the UIL, the UIL recognizes that this could put TASO members in an uncomfortable position, just before what may very well be the biggest game in their officiating career.

Out of respect to our members, the UIL will not be providing the hats this year. The TASO Football Board of Directors appreciates this gesture by the UIL and look forward to the exciting UIL State Championship games this year.

I doubt they did this on their own so kudos to TASO leaders who likely initiated the coordination required to pull this off.  Good work by both parties.

I'm kidding. 

I'm thankful to both parties for not having to deal with this issue tomorrow.  (or at least my white hat not having to)

In a galaxy far far away many eons ago, the  tiphat: Good UIL Dr., who was in a most benevolent mood, came waltzing in late to a TASO State Board Meeting and started throwing UIL hats around to the board members kinda like a drunken sailor. Anyway, I still have mine~ I guess I should put it up for sale on ebay, but I'm really afraid that I'll end up having to pay someone an awfully lot of dineros just to take it off my hands! Any takers?   z^

Now what on Earth would ever make you begin to think that someone from the far reaches of France would even be remotely interested in a genuine article of trash that had it origins from  :bOW  tiphat:   :!# Manor Road?      z^
