Kickoff Scenario:
Kicker is starting his trot towards the ball for the kickoff. K player near the sideline clearly runs past the kicking line and into the neutral zone well before kicker has kicked the ball.
Question:
Kill it at the time the K player entered the neutral zone?
Thanks!
(The reason I ask, and sorry if these sound so basic is because I've seen instances where crews have killed the play while others have not killed it and let the play go on and then give R choice of penalty depending on the outcome of the play).

Federation Rules- Kill it as soon as you can.
-
For any game played under Fed rules, encroachment prevents the ball from becoming live. Kill it.

Thanks guys...I can assure you a good number of folks will benefit from your responses!

There's his first problem - after his second step, it shouldn't be a "trot", it should be a sprint!
