Title: NFL pants
Post by: El Macman on August 19, 2012, 06:09:39 PM
I'm probably just out of touch, and this has already been kicked around, but it appears the NFL has abandoned knickers. I've seen nothing but the black full length pants, so far. Looks like the NCAA led the way on that, for a change.

NFL slacks have a much wider white stripe than NCAA.

Maybe they decided that since the knickers do not do as good a job at hiding curves, it would be better to go with the pants fulltime

According to Mike Pereira, knickers are done with.

Joining the NFL, my association has nixed the knickers also.

Is it just me or do the officials all look like they need to see a good tailor? I think the pants look bad in general but a bunch of these guys look like they're wearing the wrong size.
