Title: pre game quiz question

question from pre-game quiz

4th/11 B41. B44 muffs A8's scrimmage kick on B's 7 and the ball rolls into B's end zone. B44 picks up the ball and starts to run but fumbles the ball while still in B's end zone. B56 recovers on B's 2 and advances to B's 8 where he is downed. During B44's fumble, A74 blocks B55 below the waist at B's 6.

Since the kick did not end and went into B's EZ it should be dead...but what happens when there is a brain fart moment and the back guys let the play got on as stated?? sNiCkErS

Touchback. Nothing else happened. If the contact would have been a PF anyway, enforce it as a DB foul.

REPLY: And follow that up by repeating: "All legal kicks entering R's end zone result in a touchback."
