2 things wrong here...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9XbtUOn-Hg

I found 1,holder didn't rise knee off ground prior to pass, ball dead!
-
Looks like the PAT pass was caught by #78 or #79
-
Right. And it looks as if the receiver is wearing an ineligible number (78 or 79?).
-
If you consider the "U" signalling TD "wrong", that's all I saw beyond the obvious pitch by the holder from his knee.
This (the play) should be called "The Lowlight of the Evening"!!!!!
-
I can't tell on the film, but it I thought that #18 caught the pass on the try. If it was 78, obviously, it's illegal. And yes, the holder never lifted his knee, ball dead when he throws it, so it really doesn't matter WHO caught it.
But look at the TD play that came before that. Count the linemen. (Never mind, I couldn't see them until the slow mo. There are seven. There MIGHT have been a substitution issue before this, but we don't see when the sub came in).
Major screwups at the end of this game. Probably an issue of the crew getting caught up in the excitement of the moment as much as the players and the fans, and losing their concentration.

Looks like #18 from the frame-by-frame view.
AB, I have no problem with the alignment on the TD play.

I don't either, now. When I saw it the first time, one of the players was hidden, and I thought there were only 6 on the line.
I still don't like the 12th man on the field when the film starts, but we don't know if his sub came in 1 second ago or 10 seconds ago, so without more evidence, we let this one go.

It was probably a foul. We see 2 seconds of video before the sub starts to run. The formation was out there long before that and he was in the formation. I'm willing to bet this was a foul.

Looks like one of his teammates is motioning / yelling for him to get off. If that's indeed the case, I'm OK with that.

What a great Hail Mary pass leading up to the (questionable) try.

Where was this game?
-
According to their roster, #19 is a OL/DL who is 6'5", 265 lbs. The roster also shows nobody listed as #79.

I checked online stats for the game and the PAT score is credited to #19.
