A tied game in the second possesion of overtime. Team A scores then gets extra point  blocked Team B picks  it up and starts to return it at the 3 before going in for the winning score Team B Taunts by High Stepping and pointing at the opposing player.  I understand we take points off the board. But does this carry over to the next overtime period?

That is correct.  No score and the penalty is enforced at the succeeding spot.  Rule 3-1-3-g

Just a sidenote: Since this is the second possession of this particular extra period, B has probably already put 7 or 8 points on the board. So, after the blocked PAT, there is a good chance that there will be no other period to carry over to.

Reminder:  Ring up an USC strike against the taughting B player.

The way I read the post was that that we are tied going into the 2nd extra period.  Team A scores at TD to take the lead.  The extra point is blocked by B.  Team B is behind now by 6 points and will now get the ball for their possession series of the 2nd extra period.

I wrote that badly the score would be tied after the score and the extra point would have been for the win. The end of the play with the penalty woukd mean the game is still tied anx we are getting ready to start a new over time period.
