http://www.click2houston.com/news/parent-of-north-shore-high-football-player-accused-of-assaulting-coach/-/1735978/23246936/-/e97qqhz/-/index.html

What I want to know is whether the charge for assaulting an elderly person is more severe than the charge for assaulting a ref cause  if it is, then lots of us have some extra protection now!!!!

Some say that in Texas football becomes  :bOWa religion ???. I guess this verifies that :)! IMHO, the pecking order of a parent's reasons Lil' Johnny's team lost : (1) the refs - they would only call penalties against us >:( ; (2) the coach - he didn't play Lil' Johnny enough / right position / right time; (3) the weather - if  the field had only been - wet / dry / under water , we would have won; (4) the athletic director - he should have never scheduled us to play a team with such mean boys ; (5) the teammates - if they were any good, we would have won ; (6) the concession stand - the smell of lobster chowder made Lil' Johnny ill....you guys can probably think of a few more, but for me it's time for some lobster chowder. eAt&.... In Maine, TXMike, snowmobile racing, ice fishing and downhill skiing are revered as Texas football is, fortunately those are non-contact sports :)!
