WHY NCAA RULES?

I'm not sure why. Single AREAS in Texas work FAR more games under NCAA rules than colleges at all levels play. Texas was a great laboratory for testing and research. Why it isn't still used that way is beyond me. My guess is that the coaches on the committee were bothered by the idea that a rule change suggestion could be made without ANY interest in how it would affect actual college teams.

Even not being in the room , we still had some ability to make input through Rogers' many contacts in Texas.  That of course will end with Steve Shaw.
