Ohio State Michigan

As I sit here waiting for kickoff, I m thinking how much is missing from today’s game because of the playoffs.  I remember when “The Game” meant everything and there was no national championship game to water it down.   I know it will never happy but college football used to be so much better without the playoff hype.  Army Navy and Ohio State Michigan were the sorts of games everyone waited for.  Also we all enjoyed all of the bowl games which pretty much go unwatched these days.   It is too bad that the good ol’ days are lost forever.

Getting to officiate Army Navy or Ohio State Michigan has to be at least as important as the National Championship.  I hope the crew at Columbus today has a great game and can savor the moment.
