Point shaving

Nothing good can ever come from condoning sports gambling, which the NCAA has done by partnering with betting entities. Now we have players shaving points in NCAA basketball games. I think it will only be a matter of time before we hear of football players getting in trouble for getting involved with betting on football games, in some form or fashion. A very sad and sorry development, to accompanying the transfer portal and NIL. Sad. Very sad.

This is not the first time that this has happened in college basketball. Many years ago when I was working college basketball a certain D1 official was sent to prison over a problem with gambling even though this never got the headlines as it would today. I totally agree with Elvis that the NCAA has much responsibility with this entire situation.IT IS A SHAME!!!
