How to watch championship games
« on: December 15, 2021, 04:37:24 PM »
I know Bally's Sports SW is carrying the games, but I've not been able to access this through Roku or my computer because they ask for a cable or satellite provider.  I have neither.  Is there a way to watch the games without cable or satellite?  Hard to believe I can't just pay a subscription to this service to watch these games.

From what I have heard you can do the Direct TV stream then cancel!
Not on any where except Bally

That's what I'm finding out, Direct TV stream at $89.  Ridiculous.  Why is the UIL making this such an exclusive thing that not everyone can watch?  Way to make a buck off of high school kids UIL.  I'd buy the Bally's app if I could but that's not even an option.

You may check the schools’ Facebook pages, they may be streaming a bootleg camera feed or something.

I signed up for Ballly's Sports Southwest through Direct TV Stream.  They have a 14 day cancellation policy, all fees refunded.  They could make more money selling access to individual games.  Anyway,  I have access and don't have to pay a dime, but I wouldn't mind paying something reasonable.  Oh well.
