What size referee pants to buy?
« on: September 02, 2021, 08:47:27 AM »
This might seem like an odd question to ask.

I am wondering what size referee pants I should order when I order my referee uniform for basketball (Will start training next Wednesday for the new season)?

Trying to decide if I should order regular size or go up a size, since the pants don't have belt loops on them, taking into account if I wear an undershirt/vest under it? I suppose what I am trying to ask in layman's terms is, in general, how do these pants fit?

Get your regular size. I did that when I started my refereeing career. I was a size 32 in belted pants, so I bought size 32 beltless pants. Now, it's different because I lost weight, so I have to use a flex belt to keep my pants up.

Vest? Like in body armor? If so, maybe best to try another hobby. ;D

LOL
No like a tank top, but I use it as an undershirt and I call it more of a vest, if that makes sense.

Just thought I would clarify in case any others are confused by what I meant  ;D

Actually I have lost some weight too, 13 pounds to be exact...not sure how, but here I am.
