More Sad News - Jerry Faust
« on: April 01, 2021, 06:46:34 PM »
Many of you knew Jerry as Jerry and others may have known him as Diablo.  I received word that he has passed to the next chapter.  He was a great confidant and brother in officiating . He was one of the men who schooled me in the rules and made me a much better thinker about them. I have missed him over the past 5 years or so as he struggled with that terrible disease.  RIP Jerry.  https://legcy.co/39C1wmB

Really sad to hear this. Diablo is one big reason why I'm here.

Oh man, I hate to hear that.  I never met him in person, but he was a great contributor on here.  He was very knowledgeable and was willing to help anyone who asked.

I actually worked with Gerry on the field early in my officiating career.  Great guy, always helpful, and always had positive constructive advice.  I did not know that he was "Diablo" posting here but that was Gerry, a quiet and unassuming team player who knew the rules to the letter.  May he rest in peace.
