Great Day for sports
« on: October 17, 2022, 03:47:23 PM »
Every year around this time there are multiple sports being televised.  Last Saturday was the best I can remember in my 68 years.   The college football games were competitive and meaningful.  Tenn, Ole Miss, TCU all won to stay undefeated.  Iowa State put a scare into Texas, OK St played great against TCU into double overtime.  Tenn/Bama was amazing.  Every channel you turned to had an exceptional game on.

The Astros and Seattle went 17 scoreless innings before the Astros win 1-0 in the 18th.   The Guardians walked off on the Yankees (a great game).  The Dodgers were blanked by the Padres 3-0 in the series (who saw that coming?).

Saturday was a sports fanatics dream day.

Friday night my HS alma mater ended a 9 year streak win by our cross county rival.  My sophomore class will continue to hold the 10 year streak that began in 1978!

UT beat Bama, 'nuff said.  USC vs Utah was a great game with a great ending.

Bills vs Chiefs was an all-timer.
