We are going to resurrect the "Karma" feature on a trial basis, as the results of the poll were about 2-1 in favor. But I've changed the titles from "Supervisor's Report": [Ataboy] and [Downgraded] to "Crowd Reaction": [Cheer] and [Boo] ro reflect something a little less personal. (We all hear boos at some time or another). I'm researching to see if the counts can be re-set to zero, but I'm not sure that's possible.

Seems as though this feature votes up and down a specific user instead of a specific post in a thread... I was expecting it to be more post-based.

Sorry. It doesn't go that granular.

This is good as you're only as good as your last call /post :) If everyone liked everything that anyone else said, we would regress to an ole' ladies' sewing circle. tiphat: :sTiR: hEaDbAnG nAnA pi1eOn deadhorse: ^talk >:D ^flag

I really do not care how popular I am. Just to illustrate, I think Ralph is one of the most knowledgeable posters on the board, and because of his position he has real useful information to share, but somehow his rating is upside down with more boos than likes.
The rating really means nothing (just like the boos from the stands-most of the time).

I'm Canadian. I like everyone. Even you folks who spell "colour" funny.

Thanks, John, for the kind words. Having more boos than cheers has never really bothered me as I ,like on the field, try to voice my opinion. It appears that I'm in good company as our fearless leader, Rulesman, also has a lopsided cheering / booing section :). Note : I just tried to go through and gave everyone on this topic a "cheer", but found that I needed to wait 2 hours to go beyond the first one...sorry,guys...

Some of it is the old adage " the only people who make mistakes are the ones doing something".
Some of the other is folks just get cranky sometimes.
