I am glad I have not fallen into these problem areas!
Adding to the wearing school colors, every week I check the OHSAA (Ohio high school) site. There I can get the ADs name and phone number, address to put into my GPS, coaches names and school colors so I can wear something different. It is little details that will make it easier on officials coming/ leaving the stadium.

I have a plain black golf shirt I wear to each game.  Eliminates the worry, as would a plain white one.

Perhaps springboard on this from the perspective too why I do not wear an "XYZ Officials" shirt too entering or leaving the contest.
Personally, I just want to be "just another guy" arriving/leaving the premesis.

Also, don't have stickers/license plates that identify you as an official. Or park in a spot marked "For Officials" or something similar.
