Title: Books by Officials
Post by: NorCalMike on October 11, 2014, 04:31:09 PM
I just finished reading Red Cashion's book First Dooowwwwn and Life to Go. I really enjoyed the book. He had some great advice about officiating and life.

Anyone know of any other good officials books?

Chad Brown "Inside The Meat Grinder"
Jerry Markbreit "Last Call"
Norm Schachter "close Calls". (My fave)
Jim Tunney "Impartial Judgment"

All can be had used, cheap, off Amazon or eBay.  I've bought all but Tunney's.. Oops, actually I did buy it.

I was lucky enough to get  a copy of Jerry Markbreit's book about five or six years ago, when I was just starting out on the Way of the Zebra. Since then, I've read it cover-to-cover countless times - it's that good.
