Title: Overtime - 1965 AP Sports Picture of the Year
Post by: Patrick E. on September 03, 2015, 08:09:08 AM

Here is a story about the 1965 AP Sports Picture of the Year.  The photo was taken almost 50 years ago at a HS football game in Massachusetts.  Appropriately, the photo's caption is sometimes referred to as "Priorities".

That's good.  Love the "proper" letter-writing style of the day.

Auburn University had one like that years ago. I think it was LSU and Auburn. The old gym across the street caught fire. The TV crew kept talking about the fire as flames reached heights above the stadium.

Yeah, some "genius" decided to back his pickup truck under an overhang with the grill still lit.  1996.
