Title: Forum Modifications
Post by: Grant - AR on June 20, 2017, 03:59:22 PM
A couple of forum modifications were made today.  One of which is supposed to stretch the forum to the width of whatever size monitor you are using.  If anyone has any issues with this like having to scroll because the forum is wider than your screen, please reply in this thread so we can fix it.

Thanks!

All it did for me was put an ad on the right side and scrunch down the reading area.  See attached pic.

Using google chrome on a 22" monitor if that matters.

Looks like I have the same issue going as Bossman. -
21" Screen w/ Google Chrome

5.75 inches of Black&White Stripes on the left (27.4%)
5.75 inches of Black&White Stripes on the right (27.4%)
2.00 inches for Williams PenaltyCard.com  (Almost 10% of page)
7.00 inches for Refstripes  (Only 29% of the page)
0.25 inch border between Refstripes and B&W stripes on the left
0.25 inch border between Williams and B&W stripes on the right

29% of the display for your actual web pages
70% of the display is not your website

For what its worth, I have an I-Phone 6 and it appears the display has more of the appearance that they told you it would.

I hope this helps

I got the same ad,  only I use an Android phone  (HTC one ) so it really does make it smaller.

This is what I am trying to get rid of.  I've tried IE, Chrome, and Firefox on a 21" monitor and I only have about an inch of B&W stripes on each side.  I used to have a lot more...probably very similar to what is listed above by KWH.  I'm not sure why KWH is still seeing some much space occupied by B&W stripes and I don't see that.

Whatever change you made, the content box is now wider (as you intended).  The ad still goes to the right hand side though.

The wider content box (and less B&W stripes on the sides) is what I was trying to get.  The ad has nothing to do with the forum modification I made.

KWH is having problems due to the fact he can only see things in Black and White.....  :sTiR:

The ad was intended to run down the right side of the page.

Carol - Whatever you did to fix Bossman, mine is also fixed and it appears I am now viewing as you intended.
