Title: Tragedy Strikes

Y’all send up a prayer for my bunch this morning. A JV player collapsed and died during our game last night. Also pray for all involved and hurting. My worst nightmare has come true.

My condolences and prayers to the parents, friends, and all involved. Certainly occurring during a game affects many. My understanding is that the NFHS staff doctor will offer the family to review the medical findings to determine if it was caused by game-related contact.

I'm sorry to hear that, Calhoun.  I can't imagine being on the field on at the site for something like that, whether it be as a player, coach, official, or fan.  My thoughts are with all involved and all affected.
