Title: Radio/Headsets for the hearing impaired
Post by: Leorex on July 26, 2019, 06:04:59 PM
Any suggestions for radio/headsets for someone wearing hearing aids? (basic Phonak style w Bluetooth capability).
Thanks in advance!

Hope you get a hit. I’m in the same shape. Can’t hear a fox 40.

There are several companies that sell bluetooth adapters for radios. Just google them.

As another possibility you could try a bone transducer. Not sure how it will interact with your hearing aid. Here is a link (https://www.techwholesale.com/motorola-rmn5114.html).

Let me know if you find a solution. My audiologist expects I will be getting hearing aids soon if my hearing keeps deteriorating. 30 years of sirens of destroyed my hearing.

I too am in the same position.

I have found these and am currently using them, the one thing I do not like is the fit is not adjustable.

Would like to find something that is adjustable with a PTT that can be worn at the waist
