Trying to find the rules that govern the eligibility a and am failing to find the ones addressing these questions.
How many quarters per week/season can a kid play for their team? Specifically asking for kids that may play on the JV team and than on the varsity team.
Are there age and/or grade requirements for varsity vs. jv? Specifically for 8th through 12th grade, 14 through 19 years of age.
Looking for rules for the Virginia High School League.

We only deal with the playing rules here. Players eligibility doesn't usually fall under the jurisdiction of football officials. Your state may be an exception but most likely not.

Is this what you are looking for? (Google Search)

No unfortunately they do not. I had googled these as well but none of them addressed my questions about JV versus varsity. Funny, but there are clear rules over 8th graders playing JV, but doesn't clearly address playing JV versus varsity.

Why not ask them directly?

As others said, eligibility, etc. is not our world as officials.
For what it's worth, I've seen 6x state champion wrestlers in FL. (grade 7,8,9,10,11,12 the kid won the state - and FL does not differentiate private v public state champions in wrestling).
