Easy, but a bit of a 'thinker:'
Kickoff, A-35, 0:02 (4), A=20, B=16.
B1 catches the legal free kick at the B-10, and advances the B-20. Surrounded by opponents, and knowing that the game clock has expired, B1 throws the ball from the B-20 to B2 at the B-18. B2 catches the ball and advances to the B-25, where he throws the ball to B3 at the B-26. B3 catches the ball and advances to the B-35, where he throws the ball toward B4 at the B-36. B4 muffs the ball, which falls to the ground at the B-36. B5 picks up the ball and runs across Team A's goal line.
Ruling:
Note: No band members were harmed in the creation of this down situation. (Bonus points for understanding this reference.)

B2 catches the ball and advances to the B-25, where he throws the ball to B3 at the B-26 : Illegal forward pass, game over.
If called correctly, there is no controversy, no bitter feelings by the QB claiming it ruined his last game as a college football player...
If only there was video of this play... ;)

Close. The next incomplete illegal forward pass causes the ball to become dead, and the game is over irrespective of any LOD language.
