I'm cheering this.  Timothy P. Brown also wrote a book  How Football Became Football.    I read it.  It's great. 

its so interesting I'm reading more today about people advocating football revert back to no face guards or no helmets so to avoid injury because they think players will use the 'wrap up' tackle more.  Maybe?  The more things change the more they become the same or at least the way it was?
