Title: M Position Placard - What does that stand for?

I was watching some spring games on TV and saw a number of officials wearing M.  Does anyone know what that means?

Looked like the pants were different too (or did all officials wear them).  Looked to be no belt and just elastic waist band.  Looked comfy

Great stuff!  Now they need to get Joe Theismann and Chris Collinsworth out there so they can see how "easy" it is.  Troy Aikman too!
