3/10 on the B30. Team A is behind with no time outs with 30 seconds to go in the 4th quarter. A25 runs 5 yards and is tackled inbounds. After the play (with the game clock running), A70 dives over the pile and peels off some the defenders. A flag is thrown for a DB UNR, and the game clock is at 20 seconds when the official stops the clock for the UNR. Ruling: 4/20 on the B40 and 10 seconds are subtracted from the game clock (10 seconds). Wind on the Ready. Agree?

Works for me. It was a dead ball foul that caused a running clock to stop. That is enough for the runoff.

Absotively (assuming B accepts the subtraction along with the distance penalty).

I'm not the only Texas official that wishes we didnt have an exception to this rule, am I?
