Title: Akansas HS onside kick debacle
Post by: BoBo on September 16, 2011, 11:41:31 AM
Saw this on you tube today and I have one question in regards to this.

I know in Iowa we have experimented with the Free Kick rule where the kicking team must have at least 4 players on each side of the kicker when the ball is kicked, I am sensing Arkansas does not have this rule?

I like the rule for player safety

the mandate for a minimum number of players to either side of the kicker is not NFHS rule.  Certainly individual states can have their own though.
