Title: WVU vs USF

I saw only bits and pieces of the West Virginia-South Florida game Thursday night, but there was a USF pass ruled incomplete on the field (in the end zone) that was overturned by replay.  From my perspective it appeared the receiver hit the ground on his back and, as he slid across the sideline, the ball bounced off his chest.  I was watching at a local sports bar so I couldn't rewind the DVR, but I thought the officials ruled it correctly.  I know it's a day late, but I'm counting on TXMike to have a video of the play so I can see why I was wrong.

The overturn of that call was terrible.  If they were looking at a foot down, yes, he got his foot down, but at that time, he did not have possession of the ball.  When he got possession, he was laying with his IDIOT on the sideline.  Even the announcers had that one right, and were shocked at the overturn.

I was even pulling for USF in the game, and it was a USF receiver, but there was no way that was a catch.

I agree with Atlanta Blue that it was not a catch.  He is probably the only RO in the world that thought that it was a catch.

Yes.  The telling replay is the one between :37 and :47 seconds.
