It is amazing that cancer is often discovered as a result of other issues - and I speak from experience. The collision in the game generated action which then resulted in followup tests. How long would Mr Corrente have gone before "traditional" symptoms would have been present? As we all know early detection is the key. My prayers go out to Mr Corrente and his family. Here's hoping the treatments have the desired affect and we see him back on the field soon.

With the help of the Lord I have beaten cancer two times.  I've had two forms, two places in the body and both are in remission.  Tony, you can beat this!  Praying for you.

I Chain Crewed for Tony when he came over to the UK to work the NFL London/International Series game. Nice guy.

I hope he fully recovers. My thoughts are with him.

I live in Cincy...so obviously watched the week 17 game w/ him and the wildcard game last week.  I thought he looked "sick"...even thought about posting something on here to see if anyone knew anything.  My thoughts are with him and his family.  He has continued be be one of the best officials...and I am sure that continuing to officiate has helped him get through this tought fight.
