Title: Pass Plays 7-Man, H/L

brain dead.  Someone clarify, please:
On passing plays, is it H or L who moves 5yd downfield upon reading pass, while the other either freezes on LOS or steps behind LOS.
(obviously, I'm not a short wing guy)
