(And we still need to see the editorial changes)

The speed with which they are getting the info out definitely makes me hopeful we will get a rulebook in timely fashion also.

Is this illegal play in 2012 now legal since the player blocked towards the front of he defender?

That's my hope, in trying to have the rulebook of our national tournaments equivalent to the NCAA one, so I can use every info on this forum during the season

I for one am very glad for the increased speed at which they're getting the info out.  Our Queensland season (which will use the 2013 rules) starts in mid July, and previous years have been a mad rush in re-training officials in time for the new season.

Okay, young guys need not reply to this but when you read the opening line of the new BBW section did anyone picture Rod Serling reading that to you....

"Consider a zone, if you will. A zone not only of sight and sound but seven yards on each side of the ball and extending five yards beyond the neutral zone while at the same time, extending back to Team A’s end line. There's a lineman in there. He's just entered...the low blocking zone."
