10 Second Zap

We started a 10 second thread in the Texas section but I wanted to add this one here.

During the down B25’s helmet comes off with no foul by an opponent. B25
continues to participate in the down. When the ball is dead the game clock is stopped
with 0:35 remaining in the second quarter.  The play ended short of the first down inbounds. 

10 second subtraction or not?

Yeah, the foul for continuing to participate without a helmet eliminates the option for the 10SS.

Which is kinda weird, but then again team A will get the first down and 15 yards.

In 2012, the subtraction applied but not in 2020 or whenever they changed it.

Gentlemen, I attached a chart that was passed on to me a number of years ago which I still use for study in case you might be interested. I believe it's up to date, but if anyone sees something I missed that needs corrected please let me know!! Thanks.
