3/15, A-30, right hash, 8:00 (3), A=10, B=14. Immediately following the snap, B99 pulls A51 down by the facemask, which is flagged by the U as a facemask foul. End A81 catches a LFP at the 50, and advances to the B-40 in the left side zone, where he is "downed" inbounds. In exuberance, A81 rises and spikes the ball to the ground, which is flagged by the B and S as a UNS foul.

A, 1/10, B-40, left hash, ready (25). Record one UNS for A81.
Since it occurred during a LFP play, the FMM may be enforced at the dead-ball spot, technically, taking the ball to the B-25. Then, the dead-ball UNS is administered (in order or occurrence), taking the ball back to the B-40, and the LTG is established at that point.

Not exotic, but a good reminder that we need to be sure we know that the FMM (any personal foul) can be added to the end of the last run, if it occurs during a LFP play, and there is no COP during the down.

Not that long ago, the FMM could only have been enforced at the previous spot (so, declined, in this example), which was inequitable with a running play, where the Basic Spot would have been the end of A81's run.

The old adage many trainers and supervisors give regarding penalty enforcement, “when you think you are going slow- slow down”!
" I don't make the rules coach!"
