The Back Judge blows his whistle at the same time that he gives S10.

Looks like the B player tapped the ball before it hit the ground in the EZ.  IW

Having 'been there - done that' enough, I am qualified to say that this one is simply poor officiating. Assuming the ball was controlled by the holder after he muffed the snap, then the kick was legal. Then it appears to be blocked at the neutral zone. Then a B player attempts a one-handed catch, but muffs it, and it falls to the ground, then he reaches down and recovers it. By rule, the ball is still alive, since it was touched by B before touching the ground in the EZ. By sounding his whistle and signaling "no good," the L has an IW. He was simply anticipating a routine kick, and wasn't prepared. Never anticipate. Be prepared for anything, but never anticipate. Better to have done nothing, let the B player run with the ball to some natural conclusion, then discuss with the crew to arrive at a proper ruling. My guess is that no one recognized, or offered up, the error, and the try simply ended. Should have been replayed. Team A would have probably successfully kicked the extra point, and Team B would have got screwed.
Learn from this one. Be prepared, and process the play.
