i have a new question concern philosophy:
in punt situation a receiving team player shout "fire" for signify he won't take the ball. The ball is taked by an opponent or a team-mate. If is a opponent the ball is dead, but if is a team-mate the ball is dead or live??
This issue is related to a chat we have now with my French colleagues

If there is no waving hand action by any team B player, then there is no invalid fair catch signal and the ball will remain live if a team B player catches or recovers the ball.

Thank's for your answer Kalle. I will be really delighted to meet you on EFAF clinic if I take part of course.

I doubt that I'll be at any future EFAF clinic, I resigned from international level (and national top-level) this year and will probably quit officiating completely after this season. But who knows, if there's a clinic in Finland and you'll be there, I might be there, too :)
