Freak Injuries...The New Batch

I think we have had previous discussions about this- mine include swollen hand from hitting a helmet during a TO signal and nasty divot on a finger from a finger whistle after runnign  into a coach.

Well last Friday night I'm killing the clock after a change of possession when my left elbow bangs into the helmet of a palyer headed for my our sideline.  It hurt but I figure it will pass.  At halftime I notice my elbow was getting fairly puffy but I had too many layers on to dig through them to look at it.  In the second half, the elbow stiffened up and I really couldn't bend it which made signals to my opposite wing a %$#@*.

Today, I was meeting with my boss when all of a sudden she goes "Oh my gosh what happened to your arm?!".  I look down at it and I guess all the goo has started to dissipate into my arm as up and down the inside of my arm has turned a purplish-yellow color.  I had noticed my arm hurting in places besides the point of my elbow but hadn't bothered to look at it.  Its pretty freaking nasty at this point.

In Texas, we have insurance provided through the officiating organization. Do y'all have something similar?

Also, no self-respecting republican would use governmental money to pay for medical expenses.

Acutally the spiffy new GOP N.C. guv has been in office nearly two years.

$20something part of our state fee goes to insurance.  It is supplemental unless you have none.
I also join the NFHS partially for the liability coverage you get.
