gloves

Anyone have any input on what type of gloves to wear when it gets colder?  I'm a B (HS)/ Deep Wing (NCAA) and have to handle the ball a fair amount.  I haven't found anything that keeps my hands at least semi-warm that I can handle the ball with.  Most I've found don't have enough grip on them and allow the ball to slide through my hands.   :(

aren't they the type for medical use?  Can see the dry and grip but do they keep your hands warm too?

I use these ones, they work well for warmth and have silicone printed palm so allow for good ball relay.

They are UK obviously but you should be able to get similar.

Nicole are a little thicker and hold your body heat in may not be toasty but won't be cold

I have these and they are pretty good.  I don't think UA makes them anymore though...

Thanks Bossman, I can see these in limited sizes in the UK, how do they come up for size?  XL say 8-8.25 on one ebay site that has them.  Also see them on US ebay too.

Try looking for shooting gloves from hunting or law enforcement equipment suppliers.  I have a pair of Gates I bought at Walmart some time back in the 90's I still use.  They will have leather (or more than likely now) synthetic leather palms and fingers.  They grip the ball just fine.  Baseball batting gloves will do in a pinch.
If you are working some bitterly cold game they probably aren't going to help much but low 40's down to just below freezing, you'll do fine.

Winter golf gloves are the best thing I have found.  When you would rather not wear them, I highly recommend the 6 hour hand warmers.  They also make them for your feet.  They are around a buck a piece and at just about every sporting goods store.  Supposed to be mid 30's on Friday... Stay warm everyone.

I use under-armor gloves underneath receiver gloves.  Works pretty well.

I use baseball batting gloves. They are thin enough that I can still use my finger whistle but keep my hands warm enough.
