A3/20@-50. immediately at the snap lineman B55 charges forward and uses his hand to
push A47s facemask back for several seconds. QB A1 takes a 5 step drop and makes a
delayed handoff to A8 who runs to the B15 where he is pushed OB. Ruling?

a. a)A3/4@ B-15. A81 goes OB on his own during his route and establishes back in
bounds. He catches a pass in the EZ. B66 was in the NZ at the snap. Ruling?

b. a)A3/4@ B-15. A81 goes OB on his own during his route. While still OB A81
jumps into the air and catches the ball in the EZ. he first lands in bounds. . B66
was in the NZ at the snap. Ruling?

A3/12@B28 The offense is down by three near the end of the game and nether team has a
TO. QB A1 is sacked at the B-36 and his helmet comes off. As A1 is on the ground, B67
comes near to stand over him, taunting. The clock reads 0:50 when the play ends. Ruling?
Clock?

A1/10@A25. QB A1 receives the snap and drops back. He throws the ball over the
middle but a Defensive lineman bats the ball back above his head. The QB jumps into
the air and controls the ball. While still airborne A1 throws the ball forward to Running
back A5 who runs to the A36 where he is tackled. Ruling?

I was waiting for somebody else to offer answers, but I'll go ahead, now.

A3/20@-50. immediately at the snap lineman B55 charges forward and uses his hand to
push A47s facemask back for several seconds. QB A1 takes a 5 step drop and makes a

A, 1/10, B-35, ready (25).  A, 1/10, B-15, ready (25). B55 commits an illegal helmet contact ("hands to the face") foul.  The foul occurred during A1's run, which ended behind the NZ, so the Basic Spot is the previous spot. By the 3 & 1, the 15-yard penalty is enforced at the Basic Spot, with a first down for A, which would yield A, 1/10, B-35. However, the result of the down is more advantageous for Team A. Unless the game clock is less than 2:00 in the 2nd/4th period, the game clock will start on the referee's signal.  The play clock is set to 25 due to the completion of the penalty.

a. a)A3/4@ B-15. A81 goes OB on his own during his route and establishes back in
bounds. He catches a pass in the EZ. B66 was in the NZ at the snap. Ruling?
A, 3/4, B-15, snap (25).  A81 is ineligible by going OB voluntarily.  Assuming no team B player touched the pass before A81 first touched the ball, A81 commits an illegal touching foul.  This foul is offset by B66's offside foul. The game clock will start on the snap, due to the 'apparent' touchdown.  The play clock is set to 25 due to the completion of the penalty.[/color]

b. a)A3/4@ B-15. A81 goes OB on his own during his route. While still OB A81
jumps into the air and catches the ball in the EZ. he first lands in bounds. . B66
was in the NZ at the snap. Ruling?
A, 1/10, B-10, snap (25). A81 remains OB while airborne; so, when he touches the ball, the ball is out of bounds, dead, and the pass is incomplete. B66's offside foul is penalized at the previous spot, and the down is repeated [The penalty yardage results in a new series for Team A.]. The game clock will start on the snap due to the incomplete pass, and the play clock is set to 25 due to the completion of the penalty.

A3/12@B28 The offense is down by three near the end of the game and nether team has a
TO. QB A1 is sacked at the B-36 and his helmet comes off. As A1 is on the ground, B67
comes near to stand over him, taunting. The clock reads 0:50 when the play ends. Ruling?
Clock?
A, 1/10, B-21, game clock at 0:40 and starts on the referee's signal; the play clock is set to 25 seconds. For A1's helmet coming off, Team B will most certainly elect to invoke the 10-second subtraction, with the game clock starting on the referee's signal.  B67's dead-ball UNS (taunting) will be enforced at the succeeding spot (the B-36), with a first down for Team A.  The play clock is set to 25 due to the completion of the penalty. A1 may not participate in the next down.

Ruling?
A, 1/10, A-36, ready, (40 and started on the dead-ball).  Since A1 did not complete the catch of the ball by returning to the ground inbounds, he did not 'possess' the ball, by rule.  Since he did not possess the ball, A1's 'throw' is not a pass, by rule, so it is not an illegal forward pass (it is considered batting, and a pass may be batted in any direction).  Assuming A5 caught the ball, his advance is legal.  The 40-second play clock starts on the dead-ball, and the game clock is stopped to award Team A a first down, and is re-started on the referee's signal.

I otherwise agree with you but I guess it is obvious that in the first question team A will decline the penalty and take the ball at B-15, 1/10.

Oh, boy.  Of course. I was so fixated on the point of the question (i.e., during which run did the foul occur?) that I neglected the pure result of the down. Thanks, Kalle.  (See?  I'm not always right.  ;D)
